Feurich Gunzenhausen production model 172 grand, high polish ebony with "hidden beauty" veneer highlights. Hidden Beauty is the term for select veneering of an otherwise black high polish piano. In this case the inside of the fallboard and the music desk shelves are veneered in burled vavona. The effect is that, when closed, the piano looks like a standard black piano. When opened, the veneer adds warmth and color that compliments the rich Feurich Gunzenhausen tone

Feurich Gunzenhausen model 172 grand, satin ebony with ADF style case.ADF  (Alt Deutsch Frieswand) is a case style that invokes the case styles of the early 1900's. The ADF case adds molding on the contours, giving it a depth and interest not found in a normal smooth case.
